5 questions with Jordan / Eye to I

Eye to I first caught my attention in what i would like to say was 2018 when I saw an event on Facebook labelled "Valentines day touge"  I had a geeze and noticed it started in Yarra Junction which is fairly local to me and I was super into grip driving at the time with my old first gen liberty wagon so I told some friends and went and checked it out, I was expecting a bit of a cruise through some random back roads and nothing more. What I was delivered with was a properly organised and tediously scouted mountain run with some super aggressive driving (also the first time I've almost been run off the road by a Ute who wasn't too happy about being over taken lol) and this is now what i think Jordan has built his company on "quality" nothing is half ass'd weather it be his touge events, his clothing or his photography everything is very well executed and I think that says a lot about himself and his company. so here it is 5 questions with Jordan from eye to I

First things first, what was your initial introduction to cars?

I’d have to say it was my Dad. When I was young he was participating in hill climbs in a crazy little Mini which he still owned until recently. But I was always around cars and bikes with him and his friends. Also basically all he ever watches on TV is racing.

That being said, what are you driving or working on currently?

Currently driving and working on my 1989 Mazda FC RX7, which has just had a rebuilt engine. It is now close to being complete (what I think of as the first stage) with only a few things needing to be fabricated and then a tune. Also currently replacing all the wheel bearings on my Mira but that’s not that exciting.

So what to you is Eye to I and what is the motivation behind it?

eye to i. foremost is a design company as an umbrella, with multi facets including graphic design as well as the brand eye to i. I started the brand because I didn’t see anyone creating the kinds of clothes and content that I wanted to see, and I wanted to create something different for real enthusiasts and people obsessed with cars and bikes like myself.

What can we expect to see from Eye to I in the near or far future?

I’ve got some big plans in the works for the release of a new drop, but have been struggling with the Melbourne lockdowns pushing everything back. Mostly, I just plan on becoming more consistent with the brand in general with more content and product releases. I’m looking forward to actually getting to drive my car properly though.

Finally, any last words or shoutouts?

Shout out to George and Shinzo for bringing another friendly face and brand into the Community. I guess I’d just add that I’d love it if you guys can check us out at ‘@eyetoi.aus’ on Facebook/Instagram and ‘eye to i.’ on YouTube. Love you x.
